Vendis Capital, the European consumer specialist private equity firm, announces the final closing of its fourth fund, Vendis IV, at its hard cap of €525 million.
This marks a significant milestone, reflecting strong investor confidence in Vendis’ focused investment strategy within the consumer sector.

The successful fundraising process was driven by robust demand from existing investors alongside substantial new commitments from institutional investors as well as from family offices, and high-net worth individuals.
The fund’s strong positioning underscores the growing demand for Vendis’ expertise in building high-quality consumer brands and scaling them internationally.

Vendis is grateful for the trust and commitment investors have shown. Their support enables Vendis to continue identifying and fostering outstanding consumer brands.
The Managing Partners would like to thank their team and portfolio companies for their dedication and hard work throughout. Their efforts have been instrumental in achieving this successful closing.

Deploying Capital for Growth and Expansion

Vendis IV is dedicated to investing in ambitious consumer-focused businesses, supporting their international expansion, and driving category and channel growth through organic and buy-and-build strategies. With a targeted investment approach focused on the Netherlands, France, DACH, Belgium and the Nordics, the fund is well-positioned to capitalize on high-potential opportunities in the sector.

With approximately 25% of Vendis IV’s capital already deployed across three strategic investments, the fund continues to see a strong pipeline of attractive opportunities. As an Article 8 fund under the EU SFDR, Vendis maintains a strong commitment to ESG considerations, working closely with portfolio companies to drive responsible and sustainable growth.

Managing Partners Michiel Deturck, Cedric Olbrechts & Vincent Braams commented, “We are extremely proud to have successfully closed Vendis IV at its hard cap. The strong support from our investors is a testament to the strength of our investment approach and our ability to generate value in the consumer space. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to partnering with exceptional businesses to fuel their growth.”

Vendis partnered with PJT Park Hill for the fundraising, while Allen & Overy Shearman Sterling LLP acted as fund counsel.
