Disc golf is a sport and recreational outdoor activity similar to golf but using discs thrown at a basket instead of balls and clubs.  Like with regular golf, players aim to complete a course with the least throws possible.  The sport is one of the fastest growing globally, supported by a loyal base of disc golf enthusiasts as well as a strong build-up of disc golf courses, most notably in the United States and Northern Europe.
