Senior Advisor
Sergio Calandri is Senior Advisor at Vendis Capital for the Italian market. He is based in Brussels.
Sergio founded the Inula Group, a European leader in natural products, bringing together pioneering brands in essential oils (Pranarom) and other plant extracts (HerbaGem and Biofloral). He guided the Inula Group, which was part of the Vendis Capital I fund portfolio, through a very ambitious organic and external growth path. Prior to that, Sergio was a Associate Partner at McKinsey in New York and London. He started his career in the M&A department of Morgan Stanley.
Sergio is a board member of several companies in the healthcare, food and aerospace sectors.
He holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Master’s degree from Bocconi University.
Sergio enjoys sea sports and travelling.
