X2O
Vertically integrated bathroom retailer
X2O is a leading retailer of bathrooms and sanitary equipment in the Benelux. The first store was opened in 2005 and the network has since grown to over 20 stores.
The value for money offering includes its own brands (c90% of sales) and premium third-party brands. X2O is vertically integrated, sourcing products directly from the producers and selling directly to the consumer (i.e. not through plumbers) with a high level of instore advice and service, including free home delivery. Stores are typically around 1.600m2-1.900m2 in out-of-town locations, displaying up to 90 different bathroom set-ups.
Vendis is supporting founder Jan Ollevier in the international roll out as well as the e-commerce development.
Vendis Capital invested in X2O in November 2016.
